Glenn McQuaid

Glenn McQuaid - born 1973 in Dublin, Ireland - is a New York City-based filmmaker associated with the Glass Eye Pix / Scareflix group.  He is currently in post-production on I Sell the Dead, starring Dominic Monaghan, Ron Perlman, Larry Fessenden, and Angus Scrimm.  I Sell the Dead is an expansion of the short film The Resurrection Apprentice (2005).  McQuaid has created Visual Effects for a number of other Glass Eye / Scareflix titles, including The Offseason, The Roost, The Last Winter, Trigger Man, and Liberty Kid.

McQuaid grew up as part of the Dublin Youth Theatre. He wrote his first script, "The Morticians," when he was 13.  He fell in love with movie making while on the set of The Field, directed by Jim Sheridan.

McQuaid is an active rugby player.  He plays second row with New York's Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club, and with Dublin's Emerald Warriors.
