Please note that while we don't recommend bringing more than one suitcase, you should be aware that there will be limited or no laundry service. It is not uncommon to wear clothes for a few days in Paraguay.

Clothing

- Walking shoes [zapatos para caminar]
- One nice pair of shoes [zapatos buenos]
- One/two nice outfits [2-3 ropas buenas, lindas]
- Jeans or kakis [vaqueros o pantalones kaki]
- T-shirts, long sleeve shirts [camisetas y camisas con mangas largas]
- One/two sweaters [ 1-2 sueteres]
- Warm jacket that is waterproof [una chaqueta para el frio que se puede servir para lluvia tambien]
- Hat, gloves, scarf (June is the beginning of winter. There is no central heating in houses and air is humid, so you will need these)

- Pajamas (appropriate for host family living) [pijamas]

Clothing should be able to get dirty, covered in paint, etc. [Ropa debe ser para trabajo--vas a ensuciarte!]
