Come join us for an exciting stay on our private 200 acre ranch located in the beautiful mountains of the Nicoya peninsula. Experience spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya, open pastures, wooded canyons with mountain streams and waterfalls, bamboo groves, tropical flowers, lush verdant forests and canopy. From the highest point of our ranch, some 1800 feet, you will witness the silent majesty of our adjoining 7000 acre preserve, home to the last of the wild Costa Rican Jaguars and ocelots. Anteaters, Coatimundi, Fox and other beautiful animals call this preserve home as well. You might want to consider a nature hike through the forest reserve, kayaking in the Gulf or down a river to the beach, taking a fishing boat out to a private island known for its birds, and/or a trip to the most beautiful, pristine and uninhabited beach on this part of the peninsula. Enjoy your stay in our welcoming, peaceful, and homey atmosphere. Cia Ricco, owner, has been sharing her love of harmony and nature with guests at the ranch for the past five years. Our Costa Rican staff are loving and kind and truly enjoy having guests to make their work worthwhile. The food is great, the people friendly and the accommodations lovely. See Howler monkeys, multi-colored squirrels, iguanas, coati, toucans, parrots and a vast variety of bird, butterfly and animal life. Make friends with our horses, cows, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, and our own Capuchin monkey. Our book and DVD libraries are at your disposal.
