In Science this year, we will be learning the following concepts:
- Matter and Energy: Properties of and changes in matter; Forms of energy (light,
sound, magnetism, electricity).
- Living Organisms: Characteristics of Living Organisms
- Ecology: Ecosystems and Populations
- Earth Systems: Internal Processes and External Events (Earthquakes and Volcanic Eruptions); Earth's Resources
- Scientific Inquiry: Science Fair is February 19th. It is mandatory. More about that later.
- Science Technology and Human Activity: Inventors and Inventions, etc..
We are now studying Light. Now that my Smart Board is installed, we will move into Scientific Inquiry. This is the unit that we will be discussing Science Fair and all the components to that project.
