In honor of Chestertown's Earth Day festivities on April 25th. Sultana Projects Inc. has teamed up with Radcliffe Creek School and the Chestertown Trails Committee to provide this wonderful chance to help our environment while enjoying a morning paddle. Expert canoeist and naturalist Chris Cerino will be our guide for this trash pickup expedition. It will be conducted from the canoes in order to minimize the mud factor. Following the paddle, members of the expedition will rendezvous at Chestertown's Fountain Park to celebrate our accomplishment with Earth Day festival-goers. Sultana Projects will be providing canoes and equipment for Radcliffe Creek students, however, anyone with a canoe is welcome to join the group. Direct parental supervision is required. Contact Gibson Anthony if you are interested in participating. ganthony@chestertowntrails.org Departure: 9:00 am, Saturday April 25th Location: meet under the Wilmer Park, Band Pavilion (not Hynson Pavilion) 8:30 am Return: Noon |
