| The university has a wide range of equipment available for use in production modules. This gear is available from the Loans Desk (M110) and can be borrowed for up to 24 hours. Equipment is always expected to be returned the following working day at the first opportunity. You will be expected to fill out a health & safety form (it should be signed by your workshop instructor) detailing any risks you might encounter and what you can do to reduce them. More on Risk Assessment. When you borrow equipment from the university, you are responsible to keeping it safe and secure. Any breakages or losses will have to be paid for, and the university has the right to withhold marks from students with outstanding debts to it. |
