Reverend David Corvini began his training with the Order of Christ/Sophia in December of 1999 and was ordained a Priest in April of 2003. Rev. David also received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of William and Mary in 1997 and a Medical Doctorate from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2001. He works full-time for St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, both as an emergency department physician and as an internist. Rev. David ran the Center of Light, New Haven for 7 years, ministering to the community and the Novice program there. In September of 2008, he moved to Brooklyn's Park Slope with his wife, Reverend Monica, to begin the Center of Light, New York.

Reverend Monica Corvini was ordained a Priest in April of 2005. She began her training with the Order of Christ/Sophia in Boston, Massachusetts. On Easter Sunday of 2001, she took her novice vows and moved into the Boston novice house, where she devoted herself to this program of intensive spiritual training for two years. In September of 2003, Rev. Monica moved to the Center of Light, Oakland and was ordained a Minister-Deacon in July 2004. She received her MBA in 2008 and currently works in Manhattan as a Client Manager of Digital Solutions for a global investment firm. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband Rev. David, serving the New York community and Center of Light.
