The myth of male sexual 'needs' and prowess have caused endless heartaches for women and children. Using the body to indulge sensual pleasures is done at the expense of those being used for this purpose. This relationship takes a person from where they are now to however far they want to develop spiritually in the current lifetime. How would you know if you are at a place in your life where it's time to take a teacher? What does it mean to be ready for that relationship? Come and discover how the student:teacher relationship is meant to work and how to find a teacher if you're ready for one.

Experiencing the Presence of God
Saturday, October 24 • 10 a.m.
Suggested Donation: $40 (lunch provided)

Though we may have a strong belief that God is real, and though we may really hope that God is real, until we actually feel God’s presence, we don’t know for ourselves that God is really there. Similarly, though we may believe that God loves us, and though we may really hope that God does, until we actually feel God’s love for us, we don’t know for sure that we are loved by God. Mystics have always sought to find out for themselves, through direct experience, whether God is real and whether God loves them. This seminar will help you begin to know how you can experience God and open to feel God’s love, so that God becomes not just a belief but an actual reality you can feel and come to know. Once you know for sure that you are completely loved and that God is real, you will be able to relax into life and into peace. Come join us for a day of experiencing the reality of God and God’s love.

Christian Mysticism Seminar

Thursday, November  19 • 7:30 p.m.

Cost: $25

All who have sought to move beyond dogma and concepts into a direct experience of God and God's love are known as mystics. The word "mystical" refers to "a spiritual reality not apparent to the senses or intelligence ... stemming from direct communion with God." Feeling God, seeing God, and knowing God cannot be accomplished by belief alone. A direct, personal experience of God is what every mystic seeks to attain. A mystic meditates and prays and strives to be in close relationship with God throughout the day and throughout their life. Christian mysticism is the process of coming into the experience of God at the center of one's being, under the teachings of Jesus and Mother Mary.  Deep in that holy place within, a mystic finds complete peace, joy, light, and love. Come to this seminar to learn how to go deeper and find out what your soul needs.

Mystical Interpretation of the Christmas Story

Thursday, December 10 • 7:30 p.m.

If you desire a more meaningful Christmas this year, join us and start the season with an in-depth look at the inner meaning of Christmas and how you can experience a truly spiritual holy season. Mystics interpret all the occurrences of Jesus and Mary's lives not only as literal events but as symbolic steps along the spiritual path. In the Christmas story, Jesus and Mary represent specific aspects of us, as do Joseph, the wise men, the shepherds, the star, the stable animals and the stable itself. Join us for this mystical interpretation of the Christmas story and deepen your appreciation for the greatest gift ever given to humanity.
