From Self-Criticism to Empowerment

Thursday, July 30 • 7:30 p.m.
Suggested Donation: $25

Why is it that so often when a new idea fills us or an inspiration comes our quick-fire mind engineers an idea to sabotage it on the spot? Why is the reaction time so fast, and where does that attitude originate? On this day, you will learn real and tangible tools to see for yourself the origin of that saboteur, where the disapproving voice stems from, and how to shed light on it in order to be new, alive, and empowered. Create the life you want and experience the peace you have longed for.

The Path

Friday, July 31 • 7:30 p.m.
Suggested Donation: $25

There is a way to come into the full awareness of God's truth. This way is like a path, from your current level of consciousness into full consciousness of God's mind and heart. You will need a guide along this way, a Teacher to retrain your mind away from the fallacies of earth life and into the realities of spiritual life. Come meet such a Teacher and let your self be led, taught, healed, and loved into union with God.

The Lives of the Essenes
Saturday, August 1 • 10 a.m.
Suggested Donation: $35

Often said to be the teachers of Jesus, the Essenes were a small community of devoted Jews who chose to live their lives according to the Old Testament guidelines for awaiting the coming of the Messiah. A gentle and peaceful people, they lived in a community that some might call utopian: sharing with each other and with their neighbors, living in simplicity and humility, and never choosing sides in conflict. They were a godly people who wanted to be ready for the Messiah's coming and to live as the Christ would have them live. This sect disappeared not long after Jesus' death and resurrection and it is thought that they integrated into the emerging Christian culture of that time. Come and hear the details of the simple Christian values and lives of the Essenes.

Meditation Seminar

Saturday, August 22 • 10 a.m.
Suggested Donation: $25 (lunch provided)

Presented by Reverend Paul Treehause

When we get still in our mind, we can draw close to the great source of peace and love. This seminar emphasizes the importance of learning to listen, without distraction, to that "still small voice" within through the practice of meditation. How does one come to this place of spiritual silence and stillness in meditation when our minds are filled with chaos and chatter? In this seminar, learn to quiet your mind and tap into a natural state of rest, peace, joy, and creativity that is possible for everyone.
