This was the comment made by several of our community members who attended Christmas eve or day celebrations here at the Center of Light Denver.  Ever?  There are a lot of Christmas celebrations to compare to when someone says "ever".  It certainly wasn't the gifts.  The food was good but I am quite certain it wasn't that either.  So what was it?  It was real.  And what exactly does that mean?  There is so much outer hoopla during one of the most holy seasons of the year and then when it is over the hope is that for all that energy put forth, something should have happened!  Well, something does happen at any one of our centers of light.  We take seriously the 4 weeks of Advent so that we can truly give birth to the Light of Christ.  That is what the Christ Mass was supposed to be about.  Unfortunately, as a society, we have lost sight of that.  The amazing thing for those who attend our centers is that while the birth of the Christ Light happens around this time of year, with practice, the light can be experienced year round for those who are open to it.  If you want this experience, come to our center.  We won't charge you for it...we just ask that you come with an open mind and a willing heart.  In Jesus and Mary's Peace,  Rev Isabelle
