Wow, its been a while since I have posted a blog!  I am making a renewed commitment to regular blogging as there are so many great things to share about what is taking place at the Denver Center of Light and it is a great way to keep in touch with those of you wanting to hear about it!  For instance, last evening we welcomed a cross country traveler, student Joshua, who is making his way to our newest Center of Light in Chicago where he will be living as a novice.  He was joined for the remainder of his travels by Janelle and Jonah from our Denver Center who are transplanting to Chicago and Milwaukee where they, too, will become new novices.  This a big and exciting step for all three of them.  Becoming a novice means that one enters into a more intensive kind of spiritual training experience.  Rather than traveling too and from a center each day for meditations, classes, etc., a novice lives IN the center.  This will give them the opportunity to work very closely with their teacher and with each other in conscious relationships with one another.  While all of our centers foster real, deep, intentional relating, being a novice is a big blessing for those who feel called to this kind of experience.  It is a profound way to quicken one's journey to God within.  May they each be blessed in their new life!
