If life is supposed to be simple, free, and easy, why does it feel so complicated and overwhelming? Wouldn't it be nice to return to the carefree and loving nature of our youth? Life is simple when we forget about our problems, fears, worries, and doubts. Slowing the mind down and learning to breathe and relax is the most simple thing we can do to accomplish the most challenging of tasks. Learn to simplify your life by letting go of the complications that clutter the heart and mind.

Lives of the Essenes
Friday, November 6 • 7:30 p.m.
Suggested Donation: $25

Often said to be the teachers of Jesus, the Essenes were a small community of devoted Jews who chose to live
their lives according to the Old Testament guidelines for awaiting the coming of the Messiah. A gentle and peaceful people, they lived in a community that some might call utopian: sharing with each other and
with their neighbors, living in simplicity and humility, and never choosing sides in conflict. They were a godly people who wanted to be ready for the Messiah's coming and to live as the Christ would have them live. This sect disappeared not long after Jesus' death and resurrection and it is thought that they integrated into the emerging Christian culture of that time. Come and hear the details of the simple Christian values and lives of the Essenes.

Transformation: Creating the Life you Want
Saturday, November 7 • 10 a.m.
Suggested Donation: $35 (light lunch provided)

Jesus said, "It is God's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom," and, "God satisfies the desire of every living thing." The action of transformation occurs when something larger than you and your understanding helps you attain what you want. If you really want something, you can have it. All religions have described this Universal Law and Truth. If something is not the way you want it to be, you can learn to change it to what you do want. Transformation is possible for everyone. Welcome to this seminar designed to unlock the infinite possibilities of transformation.

Christian Mysticism Seminar

Saturday, October 24 • 10 a.m.

Cost: $10 pre-registered; $15 at the door.

All who have sought to move beyond dogma and concepts into a direct experience of God and God's love are known as mystics. The word "mystical" refers to "a spiritual reality not apparent to the senses or intelligence ... stemming from direct communion with God." Feeling God, seeing God, and knowing God cannot be accomplished by belief alone. A direct, personal experience of God is what every mystic seeks to attain. A mystic meditates and prays and strives to be in close relationship with God throughout the day and throughout their life. Christian mysticism is the process of coming into the experience of God at the center of one's being, under the teachings of Jesus and Mother Mary.  Deep in that holy place within, a mystic finds complete peace, joy, light, and love. Come to this seminar to learn how to go deeper and find out what your soul needs.

Saturday, December 19 • 7 p.m.

If you desire a more meaningful Christmas this year, join us and start the season with an in-depth look at the inner meaning of Christmas and how you can experience a truly spiritual holy season. Mystics interpret all the occurrences of Jesus and Mary's lives not only as literal events but as symbolic steps along the spiritual path. In the Christmas story, Jesus and Mary represent specific aspects of us, as do Joseph, the wise men, the shepherds, the star, the stable animals and the stable itself. Join us for this mystical interpretation of the Christmas story and deepen your appreciation for the greatest gift ever given to humanity.
