Textured Fall Leaves
![]() First Graders created a leaf by first filling a 12X18 inch white paper full of textures. To create the textures, students used plastic texture plates that went under their paper; coloring with crayons the textures would magically appear on the paper. Once the paper was filled with textures, the student chose a leaf pattern to trace. Then they cut out the leaf and glued it to another 12X18 inch colored construction paper. Lastly, they used a black crayon to make the veins of the leaf and also make it more recognizable.
