The 2009 CAWP Youth Writing Camp is a 3-week program designed for students who show a keen interest in writing and who are currently in grades 5-9.  We welcome students who are already good writers as well as those who would like additional help to improve their writing skills.

Campers will write in a variety of genres and work through the entire writing process, from prewriting to publishing.  Campers will work to communicate ideas on paper and generate many rough drafts during the first and second weeks of camp.  Then students will choose one or two pieces to revise, edit and publish in a final book.  Computers and printers will be available for final drafts.
