Dear Fifth, Sixth,and Seventh Graders,
For your summer reading program we expect you to write a one page report on 2 reading books of your choice. Be sure to choose books on grade level and ones you haven't read. We will not accept book summaries. Boring! These reports are due the first day of school.
We'd like you to respond to your readings by answering some or all of these questions in paragraph form:
1. Tell about your feelings about the characters
2. Tell about your feelings about the story
3. Explain about the parts your liked or disliked (or both)
4. What questions did you ask yourself about he story?
5. What are your predictions about the story?
6. What things did you wonder while reading the story?
Any other questions similar to these questions are appropriate.
