Question:    

 I have a question - Is Bio-Diesel bad? I have several friends that have helped start a group that is producing bio-diesel (using waste frying oil from area restuarants).

If that is all they are using-no it is not bad. What we need to fight is ethanol and biofuel made from food sources which is the primary path that is being taken. Those with an agenda that uses non food items need to come together and find a different name or designation for what they are doing. We need to make people ask the vey question you asked because most people are under the impression that all biofuel is good and it is not, it is creating a mammoth societal problem.  French fry grease is a very limited resource and people also need to know that they must be selective as most biodiesel is made with soy or corn.
