| Team Info
With the objective to inspire, motivate, and RACE, we as one team use this mission to stand by and swim by. Respect between the athletes and the coaches is a crucial aspect in building this program at Cretin-Derham Hall. In order to improve as swimmers, coaches, and individuals we all need to listen to each other's opinions and concerns. Our goal is to respect each and every swimmer in the water and as an individual on and off the deck. Attitude is the key factor in making a champion. With attitude comes the choice to lead and act positively with sportsmanship and integrity or the choice to act negatively. With the right attitude we have the ability to choose our destiny with positive actions, positive thinking, and aggressive performances. Communication is an integral aspect in developing a team. Regardless of the situation we need to keep communication open in the relationships of swimmer to coach and coach to swimmer. Everything makes us who we are; no concern, no problem, and no situation is too small to be addressed. To develop as individuals, as a team, and as a program we must understand the capabilities and desires of each person through conversation. Excellence is what we will reach as a team. Through respect, attitude, and communication we will reach our full capability as swimmers, individuals, and students of the Cretin-Derham Hall community. "Believe in yourself. You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face…You must do that which you think you cannot do." Eleanor Roosevelt
