TRANSPORTATION
All teams will travel to away games via a school bus (or coach bus for out of town trips). Buses will leave at 2:45 pm, unless otherwise noted. For the protection of athletes, if an athlete is planning to return with her parents, a WRITTEN notice must be provided to the coach prior to the parents and athlete’s departure. We must know who to expect on our bus on the return trip. There are tryouts for varsity, junior varsity, and B-Squad levels. If numbers permit, there will be two Ninth grade teams. Varsity, JV and B Squad teams compete for 13 weeks with 20 games. Ninth Grade teams compete about 9-10 weeks with 13-15 games. Parent Athlete Meeting Date: Monday, Feb. 16 6 PM in the Field House The softball fee varies for each level. Varsity, JV, and B Squad may purchase hats, socks, long sleeve t-shirt, and various team gear. Ninth Graders are expected to provide their own grey sweatpants for games, and a long sleeve t-shirt for competition. CDH will sell the long sleeve t-shirt; price still to be determined. UNIFORMS
Varsity, JV, and B Teams: Uniforms are provided. 9th Grade Teams: Will wear a long sleeved, numbered purple top with gray sweatpants.
COSTS All players will purchase a long sleeved purple top. Only 9th Grade tops will have numbers. 9th Graders will need to purchase gray sweatpants if they do not already own them. Varsity, JV, and B Teams may need to purchase purple socks. Please let us know if we need to order socks for an athlete. Varsity and JV: All overnight expenses and food costs for the trip to the Cloquet tournament will covered by the athlete. Ordering of team wear, elaborate or modest, will not be encouraged.
