Boise State University has expressed interest in forming a quiz bowl team, so we may be able to revive the BYU Perpetual Motion Invitational.  This would be especially likely if the University of Utah, Utah Valley University, Utah State University, Weber State University, Snow College, or Salt Lake Community College forms a team.  There is some hope for this, as USU competed in a National Cattlemen's Foundation Quiz Bowl Championship in 2007, and regularly hosts intramural quiz bowl tournaments.  Also, Weber State is a member of CBI Region 13, which has a CBI Quiz Bowl Regional at Colorado State University.  Whatever happens, we'll be enthusiastic participants as we move into the future.
