Myasthenia Gravis is an auto-immune disease that attacks the neuro-muscular junction.

Anti-bodies attach themselves to the AChR receptors on muscles and prevent them receiving messages from the nerves.

The title, Missing Grabbits, was, as far as I know, coined by Mr Gravis who writes the "Life with Gravis" column in the MGA newsletters.

Not only is it much easier to pronounce, it is an excellent description of the disease.
