TRAINS FOR OPEN BVE AND BVE 4

30th June 2013

The infilling is now finished, I've added a few pipes, the guard irons, the leading sandbox's and pipework for them.

What's left on the bogies?

Making the cab steps more than one texture and adding some sticky out bits to the traction motors that can be seen from some angles when the bogie is viewed from the side.

What else, finish the underframe (the compressor might be interesting!), the coupling guard under the bufferbeam and the multiple working orange bits on the nose.

Plus, quite a few small things I may have missed!

23rd June 2013

Back on the 56, I have moved the bogies more to the centre by 150mm, a clue why was the bogie steps did not line up with the cab correctly and started infilling the brake parts.

You also get a shot of a more modern livery I plan for it in this screenshot.

The main body side has textures from Richard Boddys photo's, the lines are from the bodywork being rubbed by overhanging bushes and trees.

One livery planned is BR blue large logo, both myself and Martin Corbett of BVE TMD rather like that one!

I have also had a look at the Class 66, that will be next.

I've now got hundreds of photo's of 66's to work on it.

All that pipework.

I've changed the bogie colour to match the fuel tank etc.

The body and roof does not match the 47 and 56's so a little fiddle with that is also required.

20th June 2013

Now released is the 'Police' Class 47 with a consist, it's a Freightliner with 57007 'inside' the 47 and before the wagons.

12th June 2013

Today I have added the shock absorber between the bogies and the body side.

I had to re config the bogies to make them fit, so it took a bit longer than expected!

I've also infilled the brake blocks and started on some orange bits on the nose.

10th June 2013

A big day!

I've finally fnished the brake plumbing on the Class 56 bogies!

I've also released some new versions of two old ones on here.

The London Midland Class 323 is now also a 6 car and the Cross Country Class 220 is now also available as an 8 car.

These are thanks to a request from a person in Germany.

Although I don't normally do requests!

I could be wrong but the 323 was the very first release with an external included.

9th June 2013

I have now finished all that pipework running along the top of the bogies and have added pipes to the brake cylinders on the two sets of them.

I've also put the basic cab step texture on, this will end up being made 3D and a little bit more than just one texture!

8th June 2013

Well what's happening with the 56?

Yet more work on all the pipes on the right side of a 56 bogie.

3rd June 2013

The 'WAG' is now also released as a 4 car, I've also revised the 2 car.

I forgot to add the cycle and wheelchair stickers to the inner doors and one of the hopper windows on the right hand side was wrong.

I should point out that the leading Unit of the 4 car has no WAG markings because many ran like that when first in this livery.

2nd June 2013

I thought another 158 external should be made.

So I've released a 'WAG' Arriva Trains Wales one!

1st June 2013

More work altering the right side of the Class 56 bogie, I've added whatever it is (I don't know!) to between the brake cylinders on the right side of the bogie.

If you know what it is please let me know!

The pipework also needs altering to suit.

29th May 2013

Work on the bogies continues, more work on the pipework on the bogies.

21st May 2013

Taking a break from the 56 this morning and made another Class 47.

This time 47829 as used by Freightliner in the early 2000's

Currently only a light engine and not shown on the Loco Downloads page at the moment but it is on the Class 47 Download page.

With train version coming soon.

A slight alteration has been made to the horn sounds found in this one...

19th May 2013

Here's a shot of one of the 56 bogies as they are today.

The red bit is what I am working on at the moment.

Or the brake pipework.

16th May 2013

A bit more work on the 56 bogies today, but nothing that you might notice in a screenshot!

So I spent a bit of time on this instead.

Yes I finally finished the Pendolino!

It's on the EMU downloads page, it's a 2048 size cab so rather large.

Sorry there's no external view.

15th May 2013

I've now added a bit more to the bogie sides.

14th May 2013

Yet more work on the Class 56 bogies.

The bogie springs are now round and altered to look more like the real ones.

I have also added more detail to the bogies, although they will not look that good until I replace the single texture that the rest of the brake details are at the moment with a lot more!

7th May 2013

Some more work on the 56 bogies.

6th May 2013

I have now released the last 1.2 version of Open Bve, development of it has stopped and it seems that no one else wants to take it on development wise.

The trains on this site are made using the 1.2.14.0 version of Open Bve, so it's now again available.

There is quite a few issues with the 1.4 versions, but the main one is that unless you make a train for it you have to remix all the sounds to make them play as you intended.

I have started to add all the brake details to the Class 56 bogies, or should I say the Mk3 go at them!

Yes that is a huge number of cylinders used......

28th April 2013

As a notebook project I have made these route objects for NWM.

I am not sure if Tony Haylor of TSC can use them, or even if he will include them in the next release of NWM.

They are based on one of the shunters used where I work, although Hunslet have not refurbished these two!

17th April 2013

You may be wondering why I picked a EWS liveried Class 56 as the first release?

Well personally when I think 56, I think MGR coal train in the Midlands coalfields.

So that's why a EWS one is first, it just about fits in the 2001 - 2005 era on NWM route.

I've quickly (about 30 seconds) put a rake of MGR's or HAA wagons behind the 56 WIP as a taster.

Please ignore that you can see the buffers are interlinked between the loco and the first wagon!

That will be corrected when I release it!

I may even add rotating 3D wheelsets to the wagons....

15th April 2013

More work on the 56, both bufferbeams now have Class 56 pipework.

I've also done some more work on the underframe.

8th April 2013

I now working on the bufferbeam area.

I thought what lets you see what a Work In Progress looks like, unlike my posts that are written in my rather naff English!

Remember this one will have a totally new cabview, sounds and config by Martin Corbett of BVETMD.

So you can now download it here Work in progress

5th April 2013

All roofs have had the color darkened on the Class 56 today.

Work has also started on the remains of the cowl fitted above the bufferbeam of 038.

1st April 2013

Today I totally re made the front Cooler group area of the roof.

I've redrawn the roof fans and added quite a bit of detail.
