Phone System Testing

posted ‎‎Feb 2, 2009 10:40 AM‎‎ by Kerri Richardson Redding

Community,

Tuesday, February 3 we will be testing the backup phone solution with our technicians.

This means our phones may go down for short intervals- 3-5 minutes maximum throughout the day.

The testing during a 'live' business day is necessary to insure that our backup solution will work when we need it.

Thank you,

Kerri

We are still in the SPAM battle...

Community,

We are still in the battle against SPAM.

In order to thoroughly correct this problem we need your HELP!

We are on the lookout for unauthorized access to our network with a Windows laptop.

We only have three Windows laptops on our network and we are in the process of checking the last machine today.

We *think* the problem keeps happening because of a unauthorized Windows laptop that keeps accessing our network.

If you see someone using a Windows laptop on campus please ask them to see the DIMS Department ASAP.

Like the MTA we are asking you if you see something, please say something- as this issue affects all of us as it hinders the effective and reliable digital communication ability of the entire community.

Thank you,

Kerri & The DIMS Department
