Coach Reid's Coaching PhilosophyOn a Personal Note
 Many coaches use resumes to highlight their winning records. Although winning is important, and I have had many winning seasons, I feel the true “highlights” of my coaching career are the personal victories I have helped my players to achieve. Whether it is demonstrating the importance of teamwork and how it relates to life after high school athletics or how even when the odds are stacked against you, through hard work and determination, one can become a success both on and off the court. I demand a lot from my players; however, I have never expected more from them than I would be willing to do myself. I feel that the “victories” of my players after they have left high school are a true testament to the type of role model I have tried to be. Sometimes athletics is the only thing an athlete has going for him, and he needs someone to show him how lessons learned on the court, both successes and failures, can relate to real life.
