What are the ages for summer missions?  Typically, 6th - 12th grades + adult chaperones. some college groups do attend!  
How many adults should we bring?  Typically a 1:5 ratio is best!  
What is the dress code for Big Creek?  You can find our dress code in the "group preparation documents"  
What are the accomodations like?  We have ten large bunkrooms that sleep 18-20 each. Each room has Air Conditioning, bunkbeds, and mattresses. We have 14 showers with endless hot water. All rooms and restrooms were refurbished in 2008-2009.  
Can we bring donations of supplies (clothes, hygeiene items, lumber, food)  YES! Please bring those donations, as we'll distribute them to people as needed.  
Are there ways for us to continue to invest in the area once our week of missions is over?  YES! That's one of the best aspects of Big Creek - we'll be here when you leave . You can return anytime to continue investing. In addition, we'll give you contact information for the ministries / people you've served wtih.  
What is the transportation policy for Big Creek?  We prefer 12-15 passenger vans or personal vehicles. Buses are usable, but churches bringing buses need to provide additional transportation for students, as we can only place 15-20 on each bus. Read more about this in our "group preparation guide"  
Is there a time for our group to meet together each day?  Yes, after evening worship, your group will be able to meet together for at least an hour alone and in private.  
Will my students work together during the week?  Typically, no. We divide students into workgroups with other churches. All workgroups have a Big Creek Staffer on site. Workgroups will have between 8-15 people per team . Yes, there it is likely, but not guaranteed, that your students will have others from your church on their team.

How many people will be at Big Creek during our week?  Typically, about 200 volunteers + staff are in attendance each week. On average, about 8-10 churches attend each week.  
Will our church have private sleeping areas?  No, Our bunkrooms sleep 20 people. We will fill these to capacity, If your church brings 20 males and females, it's likely you'll have a private sleeping areas.
