God's Closet

Today, I was thrilled to travel to Kentucky with a few guys from Sharon Baptist in Powell.  Several members of their church have worked VERY hard to collect over FOUR HUNDRED pairs of jeans that we took to the God's Closet clothing pantry in Manchester.  

Two of the ladies who work there (Gail and Kimmy) met us there, and were just so appreciative of the gifts.   As we were unloading, Gail was telling me of some needs they have for wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches - and thankfully, Dixie Lee Baptist had donated several sets of all those to us back in May!  So, we took the van and trailer to Big Creek, loaded  it AGAIN with clothes and medical supplies, and drove BACK to God's closet and dropped off another load!   

A day full of Blessings.  Thanks to our friends at Sharon Baptist for partnering with us as we share Christ's love in Leslie and Clay Counties!
