Welcome (Soma)

The PTO Meeting began at 6:05 PM with a welcome to Ms Traci Hill who will become the PTO President for the upcoming year.

Approval of meeting minutes (Everyone)

March PTO Meeting minutes were approved as presented.  A copy of the approved minutes can be seen at:

Beef-o-Brady Fundraiser (Christine)

Treasurer Christine updated us about the Beef-O-Brady Fund raiser held on Thursday, March 26, 2009.  The approximate money raised was $115.00. Updated figures will be provided by Beef-o-Brady people next week.

Teacher Appreciation Week (Everyone)

The Teacher Appreciation week will be the week of May 4 through 8, 2009.

Anita will coordinate with Home Room Parents for the following:

Mon, May 4, 2009 Breakfast (Middle School; Main Campus) (Ms Carla & Tosha classes; Meridian Campus)

Wed, May 6, 2009 Lunch (Elementary School; Main Campus)

(Ms Sarah & Janet classes; Meridian Campus)

Breakfast selection: Egg casserole, Muffins, Bagels, Yogurts, Dry cereal or cereal bars, coffee, tea bags, drinks.

Lunch selections: Spaghetti, salads, fruit salads, garlic bread, drinks, casseroles. Brownies.

Ms Olivia will out an information about this with Friday Facts that goes out on Fri, Apr 17, 2009

Christine will get the Gift cards and Publix bags. Traci will get the Aveda bags. Traci will coordinate with PK3 kids do the hand-prints on ivory-colored Publix bags to be delivered to teachers before April end.

PTO will pitch money for SGA if they need it. The Gift card amounts are:

Wal-mart : $15; Panera Bread: $10; Publix: $15+bag; Cash: $30-50 (varying amounts; Ms Ilona will be consulted)

8^th grade trip (Ilona)

Christine and Soma will be gone between Tue, May 5 and Fri 8, 2009.  All 8^th graders, four parents, and couple of teachers will be in Atlanta

Year End shows (Ilona)

8^th grade shows are on Thu, Apr 23 and Fri, Apr 24, 2009. Other grade shows will be Tue, Apr 28 and Wed, Apr 29, 2009. Everyone is invited to attend and cheer the kids in the new tent in the field.

Next PTO Meeting

The final PTO meeting for the current board will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 6 PM in Science Room. Note the change of date
