We love camp!
Jewish overnight camps provide our children with safe, exciting, creative opportunities to explore who they are and what they can be...as kids, as Jews, as members of a community. In an effort to connect our congregation to Jewish Camping, Temple Beth Elohim has partnered with Combined Jewish Philanthropies and The Foundation For Jewish Camp in the CJP Jewish Educational Overnight Camping Initiative.
Say What?!
Through our partnership in this initiative, any student in a Temple Beth Elohim learning program who will be attending a Jewish educational overnight summer camp for the first time is eligible to receive $1000 toward their tuition!
Download an interest form or grab one from the TBE Lobby, fill it out, and return it to the TBE School Office. A member of the TBE Education Team will be in touch with you to discuss the next steps. In the meantime, check out our Camping Initiative Information Library - located in the TBE Library! We've compiled promotional materials from many of our region's camps. Contact information for each camp is listed in each camp's binder In addition, check out the BELYOnline Resource Guide for links to many of those camps!
Once you have registered for camp, please contact us for an application to participate in the Initiative and receive the incentive grant. Sign up for the summer of a lifetime!
For more information, please contact Sarah Fishman or Brett Lubarsky...we would love to talk about camp with you!
