Book Report Due Dates
Please check to make sure your child has a book of the correct genre for each book report. We went to the library to look for mysteries, fantasies, and science fiction for the next book report. Not everyone has a book yet. One should be selected by the end of next week.
Some of the "Character Cash" book projects were fantastic. Some needed more work. A criteria checklist was given to each child and all the parts were discussed. I looked over the content of the draft and made suggestions if it was necessary. It's your child's responsibility to make changes. If possible, please assist by looking over the checklist and final product to make sure the work is totally completed. It's fine to point out areas of weakness.

 | Field Trips
The district has informed us that there will be no more driving trips. We are in the process of exploring other options for field trips. Each class is entitled to two trips. Currently, our class is scheduled for the Ronald Reagen Presidental Lib  rary on February 12, 2009. Other dates will follow as I get the confirmations.
