It may be hard to imagine now, but one day you'll be wondering how your child could ever have been that small.  Babies grow remarkably quickly over their first few years.  A baby imprint is a casting or molding or inkprint of a baby's hands or feet - preserving a moment in time for a mother and child to treasure later, allowing them to  see (and feel in the case of a casting) the features of tiny cute hands and feet, years later.

There are a number of do-it-yourself baby imprint kits of various skill levels available.  Baby imprint kits typically contain an impression material (e.g. plaster of Paris, clay), a casting container and instructions on how to make a mold of your baby's hand or foot and a label.
