Dean Walczak will balance time, for the sixth year in 06-07, between Financial Management of the school and Chem/Physics Seminars and projects.

His experiences include:

• A B.A in Chemistry from St. John’s University
• Work with the International Special Olympics
• Three years of Peace Corps/Expat experience as a science instructor in Fiji
• A M.Ed from the U of Minnesota and a teaching license in Physical science 7-12
• An SCA volunteer at Wind Cave National Park., National Park
• Certification as a Fijian language interpreter.
• HAZMAT certification
• Coaching soccer
• A red card holding forest fire fighter
• Involvment in a graduate study involving coyotes and skunks.
• Summiting Devil’s Tower in Wyoming
• Completing the Boston Marathon

He has also taught in the St. Paul and Minnetonka school districts. His interests include running and alternative energy ideas. He is currently a student in the MBA program at the Carlson School of Management, but his biggest project is helping raise his two magnificent children with his wonderful wife.
