Amanda Bunyard graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Studio Art. After college, she substitute taught in Kirksville High School for a while. Then in 2003 she moved to Minneapolis to work with a non-profit organization called Source MN to help establish an art center and mentor at-risk youth. Now in 2006 the Fallout Urban Art Center is well established and run by new volunteers and staff and Amanda decided to move on and learn more in life, thus here she is at Avalon working with youth in an educational setting. She is still part of an art co-op at Source and works in her studio there when she’s not riding her bike or doing something else that’s fun. |
