We will be starting the year with Unit on Geography Skills. Our first unit will cover introduction to Geography and geography tools along with spatial thinking. We will look at economic systems and forms of government. The first quarter we will us Geography Alive! Regions and People text from TCI, 2023.
The text is on print and we will be able to access it with our iPads moving forward.

Homework is an extension of your learning. This is to give you time to practice parts of the targets and come prepared to participate in your learning in the next class.
You receive a Habits of Work Grade as part of your grade- being on time matters!
Due dates are in powerschool and on Google classroom. They are also written on the board. Assignments are expected to be done on time. Emergencies happen... please communicate with me.

Absent? If you are absent, you will be expected to conference with your teachers about what you missed. You are responsible for your learning!! You should also checkout the agenda that is posted daily on google classroom. Work is expected to be made up in a timely manner in order to stay on track with your learning. Work will be clearly posted! Check your email and be present in class.

In 7th grade we will focus on the World, culture, geography, civilizations and current events.
We will use Junior Scholastic, the TCI textbook, and Flocabulary to increase our vocabulary, learn about current events, activate prior knowledge and to learn about new concepts.
