The options before you are:

1. Start with a blogger blog. It is absolutely free. You can post content, add Google AdSense and affiliate ads on the blog. All you need to do is go to www.blogger.com. In three easy steps, within minutes your blog will be ready. You can start posting content.

2. You can start with a google site. This is again free to start and you can create sites very easily. You can start creating sites at www.google.com/sites. AskRangoo sites are created using google sites service.

3, You can create a free WordPress blog. By going to www,wordpress.com you can create a free wordpress blog for yourself. You will not be able to integrate Google AdSense with these blogs but you can post content and add affiliate programs.

4. You can create a WordPress blog with wordpress.org. For this you need to buy domain name from a service such as www.godaddy.com and buy webhosting from a service such as www.buy-webhosting.com, You will need to spend about $10 per year for the domain name and $10 to $60 per year for webhosting. The amount of space you need decides the amount you spend for hosting your blog.
