I want to share Wolf stalker by Gloria Skurzynski with you – it is a national geographic society series. This book has a lot of adventure. The exciting part was when Mike and all the characters in Olivia’s family tried to collect evidence. They wanted to show that Mr. Campbell had shot the wolf by showing pictures that Jack had taken on his trek.
In this book, there is lots of action going on at the same time, one part is when the kids are all on a mission to find Troy, and another part is when their parents are looking for any information about REX the dog that may have been either killed or lost. And at the same time, the ranger too, is looking for the kids who had disappeared out of where they were standing by the truck.
Another exciting part I wondered about were the things that might have happened to Troy’s mother – was she dead or lost?
What I really wanted to know was what happened to the wolf in the Yellowstone National Park – this whole incident sent my pulse racing.
I would recommend this book to all adventurers.

James and the
Giant Peach
James is a boy whose parents died 3 years ago. He is living with his aunts, Sponge and Spiker. They are very cruel and mean to him. They make him do all the work while they sit around and watch TV.
One day, James meets an old man. The man gives him some squiggly green shiny magical things. He tells James to run home, fill up a jug of water and put the squiggly green shiny magical things in the jug of water.
While running home, he drops the squiggly green, shiny magical things and they sink into the ground. Mysterious things happen after that. You’ll never know what mess he’ll get into (To find out, read the book).
My favourite part is when the cricket sings rude songs about aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker. The songs are funny and it made me laugh while reading. I also like this book because centipede likes getting up to mischief and like I do too. I think this book is very funny.
Roald Dahl is an author who writes books and is usually illustrated by Quentin Blake. This book was illustrated by Lane Smith. The pictures are pretty good. I think Quentin Blake’s pictures are better.
I would rate this book 5 out of 5 because it is very humorous and witty. This story made me laugh aloud for the first time.

My name is Erin and I read “By the Shores of Silver Lake by Laura Ingalls Wilder”. It’s a very nice series and it’s about 2 girls Luara nd Mary and their parents as they move from place to place.
It’s a historical fiction and a Newbery Honor book. It describes a pioneer life and how hard it was for them. This family struggled through the hard times especially when the father planted the seeds for wheat but it was eaten by the grasshoppers so all their hard work was gone. That made me feel sad little but funny. The sad part was when Mary got blind and when they had to leave the creek to make a new house.
I enjoyed the part when they travelled through the plains to go Silver Lake. Their journey was an exciting time when they travelled on the train for the first time.
I recommend this to anyone who would be interested in what life was like long time ago before there were any airplanes.
Hi my name is Junie B. Jones. I am the smartest girl in class, no matter what May says.
I have many expressions; I can sulk, smile and laugh. Sometimes, I use words that no one understands but I understand and I don’t know why they don’t understand. I guess I am funny!
I try to be grown up but no one understands that. Mom said that Aunt Flo was getting married and I said “please, I want to be a flower girl! – being a flower girl is special and fun because you get to throw petals and I have never done this before. And I want to do this.
To be a flower girl you need to be responsible and not trip at all, not even once. Aunt Flo chose Bo to be the flower girl and I was really mad. I started to grab the basket, Bo ran to Aunt Flo to complain but I really wanted only 2 little tiny petals. Later Bo and I threw petals everywhere bare footed and that’s the best of it. I didn’t get told off not even once. I think it is better to be a kid, because we get away with a lot of things. I extremely may next time be a flower girl. I absolutely will next time be a flower girl. All stories about me – Junie B. Jones are fun, exciting and they will make you enjoy the rest of my stories. So grab a book from the library and read it. She is clever, smart and cheeky. I am a flower girl here and to be a flower girl you have to have a nice dress, ribbon and petals. Above all you need to polite and well mannered.

Hello
my name is Laura Ingalls.
I wrote a story about my life in the prairies and it’s called “Little house on the Prairie”
When I lived in the wagon, we made beds out of mattresses that were small and thin. We slept with our legs folded because we couldn’t keep our legs long because there was no room to stretch them. We often got cramps because we slept with folded legs.
You may wonder why I lived on a wagon; well this is a story about my life during the pioneer days in America.
Long ago, my family moved from Wisconsin to Kansas, now we would take the airplane but long ago, we travelled in covered wagons or by foot.
Living in the wagon was exciting but then I got tired of sleeping with curled up feet. Not going to school, not having anyone to play with and all I did was chores.
I loved my adventurous life; we cooked food on wood and ate cornbread with molasses and some Prairie meat every day. On the first few days it was tasty but then did not feel good and I was fed up of eating the same food every day. Life passed by hunting, plowing, planting and washing. Life was fun until my Pa said it was time for us to move.
I think you should my story because it’s interesting to know how I lived, how scared I felt, how lonely I was and the fun that I had.
Let me tell you the time when the native Indians came into my house, they raided our cornbread and Pa’s tobacco pouch, I was really scared, I hid behind a log of wood and kept away.
There are 9 books in the series and I have only told you some of my adventures to find out more read the little house on the prairie.
