How can I upgrade from a free account to a paid subscription?

You can upgrade your free account to a paid subscription at any time. If you are the account administrator, click on the Subscriptions link at the top to manage your plan. Plans are based on the number of users you can create, as well as storage space for documents and images. Once you've selected and confirmed your new plan you can start using it immediately.


Can I change my paid subscription to a different plan?
Yes. You can increase or decrease your plan level at any time. When you increase your plan, the number of accounts you can create will increase as well as your capacity to create documents, images, and workspaces.


Will my credit card be charged if I take advantage of the free trial?
People using a free account can try any paid subscription free for 30 days by entering the coupon code "PRC-TRIAL". Your credit card will only be charged after 30 days. During your trial you can downgrade or cancel the service at any time.


What can't I downgrade my paid subscription?
When you decrease your plan, the number of accounts you can create and the number of documents you can store will decrease. If you attempt to decrease your subscription and are prevented, this indicates that you have too many active users or have exceeded your document storage limit. To change this, remove selected documents or users from Joint Contact in order to meet the new plan specifications.


Can I change my subscription in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes. For all paid subscriptions, Joint Contact will automatically bill your credit card every 30 days based on the start date of your current plan. However, if you increase or decrease your subscription in the middle of a billing cycle, you will be charged the new rate on your next billing date. For example, if the next billing date of your paid subscription is June 1st, and you changed your subscription on May 15th, you can start using the new plan right away, and will be billed the new rate starting June 1st.

If you are upgrading from a free account to a paid subscription, your next billing date will be the current date (unless you utilize a coupon code).


Where can I update or change my credit card?
To change the credit card used for your current subscription, just click on  "Update Billing Information" from the subscriptions window.    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.


What is the refund policy?
All paid subscriptions are prepaid for the 30 day interval in which they are used. No refunds are given for remaining prepaid days. If you would like to close your account, use the "Cancel Subscription" interface.


Will I be notified when my credit card is charged?
Yes. You can see the status of your active and previous subscriptions in the subscriptions history window. You will also be e-mailed a receipt for recurring payments made on your active plan.


Will other members of my team be able to add or remove users, or change my subscription plan?
No. Only the designated profile administrator is able to manage user accounts and subscription information.
