Palestinian hip hop group, DAM (Da Arabian MC's), return to the Bay Area for the Berkeley screening of Slingshot Hip Hop and concert with local artist Sizwe from Spear of the Nation.  DAM is influenced by US hip hop artists, Arab beats, daily struggles they face in Palestine and resistance to occupation.  In addition to this, the concert is to bring more awareness and action around issues of political prisoners, particularly the San Francisco 8, 8 community elders and former Black Panther members and supporters unjustly targeted for their activism (www.freethesf8.org).
