The Great
Barrier Island Yoga School has been hosting regular workshops with Michel Besnard every January since 2007. These photos were taken in January 2008. The practise of yoga benefits your mind body and spirit. Michel, a visiting
teacher from Hong Kong, imparts his knowledge and experience at a
weekend workshop held early 2008. The workshop was held at the Tryphena Community Hall beside Pa Beach.
We kicked off Friday evening with a good stretch out and continued to build
on each of the following four classes on Saturday and Sunday. You could
attend one or all five classes.
And it is not all hard work. Barrier yoga is great fun. Thanks to our teacher
Linda, the Barrier has several weekly classes for all shapes and sizes,
no matter what fitness level you are.
