An abbreviated adaptation of Shakespeare's Play "The Tempest" will be staged at the Aotea Community Art Gallery garden, Gray Rd, Kaitoke on Saturday March 28 at 5pm.
Come along and enjoy a local Great Barrier Island Production. Family friendly, there's drama, dance, music and laughter for all to enjoy. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite fairy.
BYO chairs, cushions, or rugs and please be seated early.

Friday 6:30pm - 8:30pm: Practical Anatomy & Theory of
the Hips
Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm: Hip Opener Asanas 1:00pm - 2:30pm: Influence of the Hips in Forward Bends Sunday 9:00am - 12:00pm: Hips Sequencing
We will be presenting the anatomy of the hips and show that
hips are very individual joints, whichare determined by gender and culture.
During this workshop we will introduce the anatomy of the
hips and how it affects our stance andhow it has a direct relationship with most of the asanas whether we do
standing, sitting, back bendor inverted
poses.
We will be presenting a progressive sequence of poses over
the two days, which will take youinto a deeper emotional, mental and physical foundation of your asanas
practice.
Michel Besnard has been practicing yoga since 1978 and
teaching since 1983, he was a direct studentof B.K.S. IYENGAR AND PATTABHI JOIS, an avid student of Adavaita Vedanta. He
isalso a certifiedPosturalIntegratorbythePsycho-physicalInstituteofSanFranscicoandholdsacertificateofGestalt therapy from the
Institute of Melbourne Australia.
