We will be presenting the anatomy of the hips and show that hips are very individual joints, which are determined by gender and culture.

During this workshop we will introduce the anatomy of the hips and how it affects our stance and how it has a direct relationship with most of the asanas whether we do standing, sitting, back bend or inverted poses.

We will be presenting a progressive sequence of poses over the two days, which will take you into a deeper emotional, mental and physical foundation of your asanas practice.

Michel Besnard has been practicing yoga since 1978 and teaching since 1983, he was a direct student  of B.K.S. IYENGAR AND PATTABHI JOIS, an avid student of Adavaita Vedanta. He is  also a certified  Postural  Integrator  by  the  Psycho-physical  Institute  of  San  Franscico  and  holds  a  certificate  of  Gestalt therapy from the Institute of Melbourne Australia.
