Deborah Voyage 1

Sydney - Nagles Cove - Auckland.

Depart Sydney                26/6/47

Arrive  Auckland               7/7/47

It is relevant to include information here about the voyage from Auckland to Sydney, even though Nagle was not in command, he was travelling as first mate no doubt, under the owner, Captain Bliss, whose home was in Sydney.
The day before Nagle left Auckland on the Deborah on  6th May, 1847, his brother-in-law Captain William Twohey had departed Auckland on the John Bull for Sydney.  A day or two before Deborah departed Auckland, she went 'up the river' ie up the Waitemata Harbour to the west of Auckland.
