Young Writer
I attended Radford College followed by the University of Canberra, and have done many school appearances and workshops. I was about 16 when I wrote the book, which is called The Land of Bad Fantasy and has since been republished in Braille and translated into Romanian. I've given talks at Callwell Highschool, Miles Franklin Primary, Girl's Grammar, Canberra High and Karabar High. I've also been to two Confluxe speculative fiction conferences so far and sat on numerous panels (beside big names like Garth Nix and Jackie French, no less. And I made a fool of myself in front of Russel Kirkpatrick, too. :P).
I also took part in the 2006 Literacy Weekend at the National Library (I conducted a workshop with my buddy Jack Heath, and filled in for Jackie French, who was sick), where I apparently made quite an impression. Area / Skills:
