Background:

I am a professionally qualified indexer and librarian. Have worked in the field of librarianship for several years in Australia and overseas. Completed professional indexing course conducted by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers and also followed a training course in Indexing Software "CINDEX". My subject areas of interest are social sciences, humanities, health and preferably mental health the field that I am employed at present. In addition I also have an interest in History which I did for my first degree. Proficient in compiling indexes for books, reports, magazines and have compiled indexes for library publications. Currently seeking to work as a freelance indexer where I can apply my combined skills in librarianship and indexing.

Publications


I have submitted a major thesis on "International Information Systems for my Master of Librarianship Degree at Monash University. Published several papers in "Journal of Hospital Librarianship" published by Howarth Press, USA.


I indexed the Annual Report of the Australian Film and Television and Radio School 2007/08.
