A. Education
- Question:
- Who will have access to education and how will they access it?
- Education will be provided thought the computer downloads Via plug-ins.
- What will be taught and how will it be taught?
- K-12 Standard learning (circa 2078) until the age of 10, when jobs/careers will be decided by the child with the help of the parents untill the age of 16 when careers will be decided by the individual
- What is the value placed on the role of Educators?
- Educators of the child will be parents/guardians until 4 at which point training and plugging-in will start until the age of 10, at which point the child will begin learning for a career.
B. How will this Utopia address the following issues regarding religion?
- State sanctioned religion (one official religion) vs. multiple religious traditions. Which is it?
- Because of the law passed in 2043, all people will have the part of the brain that causes racism, suppressed and reduced, as to reduce the racism in the world so that it will not hurt or hinder the world, and because of this any religion is accepted. However the vast majority of religion is Buddhism because people now no longer kill animals, plants, etc. (for sport or food) instead they kill each other (for sport, not food)
- Observance of eastern and western religions as they currently exist vs. the creation of a new religion or many new religions?
- In the 2000-2042 years this might have been a problem with religions fighting but now it is no more, as of the year 2043
C. Arts and Entertainment:
- Is there any Literature?
- Literature(fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama) in my utopia has no limit or boundary. People are permitted to live, work or do almost whatever they want as far as it is in the predetermined laws set by the peoples government. They may create or learn from any form of literature that they wish to within a certin extent. (e.g. books on things such as the risistance are not permitted) We have a wide ranging collecting from everything on building and designing inter-space vehicles to modern home improvement to Dr.Suess Green Eggs And Ham (a widely loved book in almost every home with or without kids)
- Fine arts (painting, sculpture, drawing, music playing, acting, dance, etc.)
- Not only does our fine arts and skills flourish, but it is incouraged and almost exspected in some homes to be able to at least know to do one. Many houses are know buy others by their familys painting, sculpture or drawing because it is so good people come from all around just to see it. Others excel in things such as musical abilitys, play acting, and dancing. Many familys are know to get together and have large concerts all of them playing there instruments at an amazing quality and most are undfer the age of 25, some as young as 5! They are also needed to play a live sound track, when plays and dances happen, another highpoint for most familys lives, to get the whole family together and see other familys perform for free, or charity (even though it realy isnt charity be cause there is nothing for a charity to help)
- Music (instrumental - classic, instrumental - contemporary, vocal, etc.)
- Film (documentary, animation, fiction, etc.)
- Movies/Cartoons/Documentary have not changed much sence the turn of the millenium ( circa 1960-2010) If anything, most of the older "original" shows have been rerun almost continuously throughout the years for all ages and people to enjoy.
- Sports
- In this particular "utopia" there is really only one major sport, and it much resembles The Most Dangerous Game, combined with a free-for-all war. All participants are put into a BattleDome and comence a free-for-all, killing spree. This sounds much goryer than it is in reality. Whenever a participant dies, the body disapears along with any trace of them being there, and they reapear, alive and intact at their "base" or home or wherever the rules of that particular game dictates. This Sport is taught how to play to all but is not required for the person to 'play'.
- Is there value placed on the role of Artists and Athletes?
- As previously stated, theres two sides to this society. The side of sport or War, and the side of culture or Life, both of which are major parts of the way things are run.
