Industry, Agricultre, and Geography

A. What is the geography of this utopian place? What are the major geographical features (bodies of water, mountains, canyons, etc.)? What does this place look like?
Arcatia is it's own planet. This planet is about the size of the planet Mars. In the eastern hemisphere there is a large ocean, just bigger than the United States. The rest of the planet is a tropical jungle and high alpine environment. There are many high mountains. Arcatia is almost entirely located on the western hemiphere but a few of the towns/domes are located in the ocean. The most abundant resource is light and geothermal energy.

B. What natural resources, if any, are available? How will they be used?
Unfortunately this planet contains very few natural resources. Large amounts of gems and minerals can be found. Natural gas is present but in extremely small quantities. Gems and minerals are used for decorating buildings, they are not use for jewelry. Natural gas, because it is such a limited resource is not used. Light and geothermal energy are used for energy.

C. Is the climate suitable for agriculture? If so, what crops will be cultivated? Please make reference to population statistics for feasibility calculation.
This climate is great for almost any crop, however the crops that can not be grown in a tropical climate are grown in state of the art facilities that are indoors. All of the produce comes from the produce dome. Due to the massive number of crops that must be produced in Arcatia the produce dome is situated on the largest plot of land, and is the largest dome.  See population demongraphics section A for specific information on both.

D. How are jobs determined? What percentage of the workforce is dedicated to the survival and growth of the Utopia?
When students are 16 they take a test that determines the students likes, they are then split up into the 67 different towns/domes. Each dome is dedicated to one job and that job helps all the other domes. After being chosen he students will then train in there new job until they are 18. One hundred percent of the work force is dedicated to the improvment of Arcatia.

E. Is this Utopia notable for any particular crop (e.g. silk, kiwi fruit) or industry (e.g. postage stamps, fine furniture)?
Arcatia is best known for the ugly fruit. This fruit is grown in 15 different fields that are 68 acres each. It is exported to 568 other planets and is the number one income source for Arcatia.
For more information on the ugly fruit visit Link (yes, it is a real fruit.)

F. What, if anything, is imported? From whom?
Meat, oil, time machines, and planes are imported from 456 other planets.

G. What, if anything, is exported? To whom?
Ugly fruit, technology, gems and minerals are exported to 675 other planets.
