VII: Reaction to Society and Other Utopias
A. How is your Utopia a reaction to the utopia that you read about in your independent novel?
In my independent novel there is one high class group that had to do nothing and a low class that does everything. My utopia is equal and everyone is assigned a job. We also don't communicate to other parts of the world.
B. What historical precedents (or from other works of fiction) have influenced your Utopian ideas?
Animal farm played a part in creating my utopia by making me realize how important equality is. The animal farm utopia eventually crashed in the end because the social class system was corrupted.
C. How is your Utopia a reaction to the society that you are living in?
I believe that everyone can do something to help the community. That being said, everyone should have a job. Also taxes shouldn't take from the rich and give to the poor, they should be equal and spent on important things that drive the society forward.
