A. Education of citizens is an important aspect in most civilizations.
How will this Utopia respond to the following issues: Isabella was a tall girl who was ready for her first day of tramphall. She didn't know what to expect because she didn't have any siblings to share their stories with her. But she knew that she would gain knowledge. As soon as she walked into the huge facility, she fell to the ground guarding her face with her hands. She bounced once and fell once more. She got up and looked at the other kids. They were jumping up and down on the floor. She jumped in the air and hit the ground, but instead of falling hard, she just bounced up. Soon she realized that all of the floors were made out of some bouncy material. She jumped once more and did a front flip in the air. She knew this was going to be fun. She looked at her schedule and her first class was history. This is one of many children attending tramphall. Tramphall's floors are made out of trampolines because the way to stimulate minds is to have fun while learning. That way, the children will learn and retain more knowledge than children in America. As it said, Isabella's first class was history. History is one of the biggest claases in tramphall. It goes over how the utopia got started, why it got started, and how can it keep going. This is the most important aspect of the utopia because if you don't know the rason why you are in Cola in the first place, why should you continue to live there. This way, the children will be more passionate about keeping the society alive. In tramphall we also teach math, literature, music, and other optional classes. All of the claases offered in tramphall are taough by trained teachers. The teachers had to go through 6 years of college to become a teacher They need to be trained completely so that they will give correct and accurate information to the students. Because the students retain more knowledge, there is less time to review so there is only 8 years of school instead of 12.
B. How will this Utopia address the following issues regarding religion? i. State sanctioned religion (one official religion) vs. multiple religious traditions: In my society, any religion that is preferred can be practiced. My society is not based upon religion at all, but there can be buildings like curches or mosques for people to continue their practices. C. Arts and Entertainment: Most great societies encourage the flourishing of the full range of human talents. (Note: do not address censorship in this section; see the Government section) How will this Utopia accommodate the following activities: On Saturdays and Sundays, the citizens are allowed t do anything they want, those are days when most of the entertainment. But on all of the weekdays, after work, there is also some time for free time. 1. Literature (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, etc.) The clubs of all these fields depend on the citizens. Clubs are not frowned upon in my society, they are actually a great tool to get people thinking on what they would not usually think about. But the most common club that usually appears has to do with the improving yourself part of my utopia. The club is talking about the struggles you have when trying to hold back from a comment you might make if you get mad or irritated. This is the hardest part of my uopia, trying to hold back what you say. But the clubhelps us all find ways to stop yourself. This is the most popular club on the island. Although it isn't mandatory, all of the population attends this club because itis by far the most helpful. 5. Sports: If a citizen wants to try out for a sports team, they must know that sports in my utopia are not paying them. It is all volunteering. There will be 16 different teams of each basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. D. Food: Will this Utopia have a national dish? What will be the prevailing cultural attitude toward food? (For example, necessary evil or daily joy?) The utopia will have a national dish which will be a mixture of all the different types of foods that we see in this utopia. Food isn't a big thing in this utopia, but sometimes, we take time to fool around with it. Every month, we have a get together for all of the citizens and we sample eachothers food. When it happens, it is a great time to socialize with people that might live on the other side of the island.
E. How has your Utopia dealt with the following isues of social customs: 1. New vs. Old Holidays: We all celebrate new year's day, mother's day, father's day, U.S independence day, and thanksgiving. Valentine's day, Christmas, and other holidays are optional to celebrate. Those are all of the old holidays, we also celebrate new holidays that were originated on this utopia. Some of them are independence day and chlidren's day. 2. Social Classes (Are different groups of people viewed differently?) People of different groups are not viewed differently because everyone in this society is treated with equal respect. So a football player has as much fame as a food gatherer. This works because everyone is getting payed the same amount, so there is no need to be jealous or envious. 3. Notoriety, Celebrity, and Respect: Everybody is known and celebrated the same because the sports players 4. Life goals, Hopes, and Dreams: A life goal to most of the citizens in the utopia is to be competely kind. When you start off luiving in this utopia, you try to hold back comments that can get you in trouble. Many people in the utopia hope to get so king that they don't have to hold back anything. F. How are families structured in your Utopia? (Is there a concept of marriage? How do children interact with their elders?) The structure of a family is the families decision. Kids are not mandatory and you don't even have to get married. Children interact with their elders with a lot of respect. But the elders react with the children with a lot of respect also because they recognize that they are the new generation of Cola. They are key to the survival of the society. G. How do men and women relate to one another? They relate to one another just as anybody would relate to another. Just as friends. |
