A. What is the geography of this utopian place? What are the major geographical features (bodies of water, mountains, canyons, etc.)? What does this place look like?
My society is 250 miles off the coast of California. It is a small island made up of mostly vegetation. The central part of the island is a big rainforest. On the outer parts, it is a beach. 0ur shelters are located on the beach part of our island and in the rainforest because, the rainforest provides shade and food while the beach is closest to the large fish that we tend to eat. There is one stream in the center of the island, that is where we get all of our water. The lanscape is primarily flat. B. What natural resources, if any, are available? How will they be used? There are a variety of metals found on my utopia. They will be used to make buildings like homes and libraries.
C. Is the climate suitable for agriculture? If so, what crops will be cultivated? Please make reference to population statistics for feasibility calculation. The climate is very suitable for agriculture, it can grow any fruit or vegetable. Mostly we grow mangoes and pineapples. The vegetables we grow are mostly green beans and carrots. We grow many more things but these are just the things we grow the most. D. How are jobs determined? What percentage of the workforce is dedicated to the survival and growth of the Utopia? Jobs are determined by preference. Anyone can get any job they want.Teachers, doctors, the questioner and construction workers are primarily the workforce. The rest of the jobs are gathering food and keeping the society alive. |
