A. What is the geography of this utopian place? What are the major
geographical features (bodies of water, mountains, canyons, etc.)? What
does this place look like? It is an island in the Indian ocean that is about 100x100 miles. There are several rivers in the island, and also one major mountain range in the center. B. What natural resources, if any, are available? How will they be used? There is very fertile land near the rivers with a lot of gold in the mountains and high oil traces in the land away from the rivers. C. Is the climate suitable for agriculture? If so, what crops will be cultivated? Please make reference to population statistics for feasibility calculation. There is a lot of fertile land; more than enough to feed the population. D. How are jobs determined? What percentage of the workforce is dedicated to the survival and growth of the Utopia? People are assigned jobs as the government decides, but a lot of emphasis is put on food production. E. Is this Utopia notable for any particular crop (e.g. silk, kiwi fruit) or industry (e.g. postage stamps, fine furniture)? It has very good soil for planting fruit. F. What, if anything, is imported? From whom? Nothing; as the people prefer to not rely on their own. However, in times of shortages, they will import food and supplies. G. What, if anything, is exported? To whom? Lots of oil is exported to everyone, as it is not needed much in an island as small as the Monocomm Democrorepublic. Also, we trade with AAA Karatydolphi's Utopia because we trust each other. |
