B. Does this Utopia have specific criteria for entry? If so, please list
the criteria here. (Do not forget to list language(s) spoken.) 

 

When the LTC started anyone could join (because there were not that many people on the planet). As time went on a law was established that the LTC would let in no more than 5,000 women, 5,000 men, and 5,000 children. These numbers were not exact. To attempt to keep those numbers, a test was given to people. No families would be broken up. If one person passesed the test than the family can either stay or go. The thing is that if you don't pass the test than you don't know what the LTC wants from you and you can make mistakes and get made fun of. Bad mistakes (such as wasteing resources) can result in getting kicked out of the LTC. Conservation is key to this Utopia. The quiz was about stick and puck (aka hockey), conservation of resources, and competition. People spoke many different languages so everyone decided to learn English and French. If necissary the LTC is saving up resources to build a wall around its land to stop poeple who aren't allowed in from coming in.

C. What are the specific skills, if any, possessed by the first generation of
citizens in this Utopia?

Everyone was very good with electronics but depended on them to much sometimes. Everyone was basically still human with different skills. Out of the first 22 people (the originals) 4 were chemical engineers, 8 were tech geniuses, 5 were teachers, 2 were scientists, 3 were in waste management, 1 was a banker, and the last person was a pilot.

D. How does your Utopia deal with the concept of race, especially in its incecption (beginning)? Does it have only one race? Does it allow mixed race bonds to be formed?


Because there were only 22 people left on the Earth, everyone was allowed. Each color had equal rights and equal treatment. Race equality is a big thing in the LTC. Out of the first 22, 8 were Canadian, 3 were Chinese, 4 were American, 2 were Brazilian, 2 were French, and 2 were British.
