III. Culture, Social Customs, and Family Structure


Education is compulsory in my utopia because it is the only way the citizens are going to be able to learn and engage in helping the utopia and the people in it. School is compulsory for 12 years. In the first four years kids learn a variety of things. Random things about all the jobs on the society and general knowledge. After the four years people in the society get to choose the career they want to continue in. They can change their job any time, but school might take longer Education is available for everyone there are normal, adult, and senior schools. They apply to the department of education and then they will be sent to a smaller school closer to home.

All religions are welcome. They are entered in the society by the people who enter. There is no official religion in my society because the people are so diverse and many religions come in. Racism is illegal and people who do this will go to jail and they will do jobs no one else wants to do. There will be no laws that enforce religion. There will be churches, mosques, temples, etc… It is up to the person to go or not go. Making a new religion by merging two others and making a whole new one is allowed.

Literature is written by the authors, poets, and the people. All kinds of literature has to go through series of steps to be published. There have been only a few handful of people who have become famous in literature so more advancements are being taken place to make our literature better.
Imarian Republic went through two main renaissances like times. The first in Fine Arts and the second in Science and Technology. Many major advancements accured. Since then fine arts has not been much of a deal. Music is the number one form entertainment because it is portable and take a little time. There are a few movies are made a year. Sports are the normal sports you see today. Cricket is the official and most famous sport. There are 28 teams and 8 make it to the playoffs. The value upon athletes is about the same you see here but artists have little fame unless they are amazing. People can also become famous if they create an advancement in technology or they help others.

The national food is Panipurri. It is sold almost everywhere in the society.
 
 
There are no social classes because there is no money. There are different life goals for different people. But the main goal throughout the society is to improve technology and help  people  escape from the rising ocean. Another goal is to make the society float once the ocean is high enough. Families are structured how they are here. Men and Women think of each others as equals.
