Hanna's Origins

Questions & Answers

Q: How will this Utopia come into being?

A: It's the year 2994 when the theory of global warming has become reality. The poles are 73% melted away. The water level has risen dangerously and most of the land is under water, there are more small islands than ever before. The majority of the people population has gone extincted, nobody knows much about the animal population yet. The remaining people have been living off of mostly fish and other sea creatures for the past 6 months. The world wide population has dropped to a surprising 2 million people (as opposed to the 6.5 billion before).
The utopia formed along what's left of the rocky mountains (where there were about 100 people living at the time). The people in the area were having a hard time taking care of themselves and their families. Many people had died and everyone had lost their job. Nobody had anything unless they made it or found it themselves. It was like living 2000 years earlier with no technology whatsoever. They were sick of the way things were and wanted to start something better, something that could make life a little bit easier on everyone.
As a solution, they thought of it as an opportunity to start fresh, make everything the way they wanted it to be, thus forming the start of a utopia. They people of the rockies gathered together and formed the plan. Everything they planned was based upon happiness. They vowed to be helpful and work together as a team. If someone was having a hard time with something, that person would be helped by one or more other people. Everyone would treat each other as if they were all family. They felt it would be a good idea because a lot of the people didn't have any family left.

This is a small area of the rocky mountains that the people live on. It is the space where the highest points of the Rocky Mountains are. The whole area they live on is 2 square miles.

The heart in the middle of the flag represents the love and bond between the people.
Q: What is the time line for the creation and development of this Utopia?
A: The utopia began almost instantly after the idea was brought up. Everyone agreed to it, thinking that it would be the best path toward happiness. They immediately began planning and making decisions. It developed and progressed a little bit more each day. Soon it would grow to be a strong utopia.

Q:How do people find out about your Utopia?
A: When someone new stumbles across it and wants to join, they would have to complete a test before they can be come an official part of it. Anybody is allowed to come and live in our utopia at their own will, but until they are an official member, they will be greatly limited as to what things they can do. Anyone is allowed to take the test at any time at no cost whatsoever to them. If they don't pass the test, they will have to do something else that shows and proved that they deserve to be in the utopia.

Q: If you began building tomorrow, where will your society be in 5 years? In 50 years? In 500 years?

A: In 5 years, the utopia would probably be one of the strongest and longest lasting attempts yet. The basic plan would be completed and working smoothly. It would still be being developed and modified though.
In 50 years, it would probably still be running smoothly. It would be complete with only a few, if any, modifications.
In 500 year, It will go down in history as the longest lasting and strongest utopia attempts ever before.

Everything in this seal has meaning towards the island and has something to do with what the utopia is based on, happiness. The rope/ braid represents the tight bond between the people of the utopia. It represents the people's vow to be helpful, thoughtful and caring to the other members. The blue colors represent the water that now surrounds them. It represents how the people think positive about the massive amounts of water as opposed to thinking the negative about it. The hearts before and after the "happiness" represents the love and care that people put into everything they do and make. The green colors on the rope/braid represent the nautral resources that they will learn to use.

So the only thing I'm wondering is what your utopia is based on.

It's based on happiness. I tried to make that clearer when i described the Seal and the Flag. Is it clearer now?
